An ideal candidate will be an ambitious self-starter, not intimidated by managing 1000s of weekly outreach and follow-up in a high-intensity environment, and looking to advance to a sales, marketing, and business development role with us.
Job Description
The Junior Sales And Marketing Associate is a sales-support position, responsible for identifying and contacting prospects, with the expectation to grow into a full Sales and Marketing role within 12-18 months. The Junior Sales And Marketing Associates is responsible for managing cold email outreach, responding to inbound requests, qualifying potential opportunities, and scheduling initial product presentations.
Over time, the Junior Sales and Marketing Associate will also be conducting product demonstrations for prospective customers and will develop into a product expert and advocate, integral in the continued growth of Squiggle Park’s products in existing and new markets.
The Junior Sales and Marketing Associate is the first contact between the prospective customer and Squiggle Park and in being so must live and breathe the brand and care for our customers!
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-2 years sales-related experience
  • Ability to work on a remote team
  • Experience with high-volume prospecting through email marketing
  • Enthusiasm for and familiarity with cloud based technology
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident, assertive self-starter who is extremely organized and goal driven
  • Team player
  • Ability to learn and think quickly
  • Proficiency with GoogleApps
  • CRM experience a plus
  • Email marketing experience a plus

Responsibilities:
  • Identifies, qualifies and cultivates new sales opportunities through multiple mediums (email, social media, trade shows, inbound website leads, and more).
  • Maintains a high level of attention to detail managing all respective sales activities (notes, follow-ups, emails, call logs) within Squiggle Park’s CRM tool.
  • Responds to inquiries via live chat, email, incoming and outbound calls.
  • Responsible for achieving aggressive weekly targets such as number of qualified opportunities per campaign, number of daily activities/tasks, outreach quality, appointment setting and sales skills.
  • Learns and Conducts product demonstrations via Google Hangouts and in-person.

Renumeration
Base + commission based on experience
