We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Graduate / Junior Software Developer to join the core development team in our Leyland Head Office. We are of one of the leading Pharmacy software solutions companies in the UK. Our software and data solutions are trusted to manage the health, wellbeing and medical data of a huge percentage of the UK population. You’ll see our systems used in pharmacies across the country from small independents through to national chains and supermarkets.
This Software Developer job will see you initially involved in the delivery of one of our key product's - Pharmacy Manager - roadmaps. You’ll be working as part of a motivated team, actively involved in Agile Scrum practices to deliver to strict timelines. 
We are looking for a .Net developer who is flexible on technologies, comfortable learning and utilising a combination of programming tools and languages including learning/using Delphi for the core application as well as .Net for the latest product suite. Your role is to support and enhance the development and maintenance of our high quality software applications.
You'll have a degree in Computer Science, or a related subject, and/or good commercial software development experience, along with knowledge and experience of:
  • .Net, C#

  • (Oracle, MS-SQL) RDBMS, SQL, T-SQL

  • Agile practices and software methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Continuous Integration, TDD, OOD)

If you do have any prior Delphi development experience, this would be a real bonus as the role will utilise this on it's current project, although it’s not wholly essential as training and support will be provided.
