For Registered Users, this information is connected across different sessions on various devices and platforms to provide a more accurate total of the number of users prior to aggregation. This data is also accessible by media organisations and research companies, for the purpose of conducting industry comparisons with other Internet websites.

Collecting information on Registered Users

As part of registering with JnrJobs, we collect Personal Information about Registered Users in order for Registered Users to take full advantage of JnrJobs’ services. To do this it will be necessary for Registered Users to provide additional information to JnrJobs, which is accurate, up-to-date and complete. It is a Registered User’s choice to provide us with their personal information. However, if a Registered User chooses not to provide us with the necessary personal information, we may not be able to provide them with some or all of JnrJobs’ services.

Registration

Becoming a Registered User allows you to take advantage of more of the tools, services and resources that may assist you in finding a job. To become a Registered User you will need to provide to us some Personal Information such as your name and email address directly or by registering using your Google (“linked accounts”).

Registering and signing in to JnrJobs with Google

When you register or sign in to the Site using your Google login details, you give Google  permission to share with JnrJobs your first name, last name and email address. If you already have a JnrJobs account registered with the same email address, your existing JnrJobs account will be linked with the login details of your linked accounts.

JnrJobs does not receive any other personal information from these linked accounts. If you unlink your linked account, JnrJobs will still have the personal information you shared with the linked account when you first registered your account.

Use of your registration information

You may access your information at any time by clicking ‘Candidate Dashboard’ or ‘Employer Dashboard’ on ‘the Site’. JnrJobs may also use this information in order to customise the service we provide to you. For example, JnrJobs may use this information to create a JnrJobs Profile that you may choose to use in the future. However, we will never activate this JnrJobs Profile (or any other service) without your express consent.

Storing resumes, Curriculum Vitaes, “CVs”

For the purposes of this site, the term resume also refers to Curriculum Vitae or CV. Registered Users may elect to store up to 5 resumes in their ‘Candidate Dashboard’, and use those resumes when applying for a job and to supplement their JnrJobs Profile. Deleting a resume from the ‘Candidate Dashboard’ area will mean it is no longer accessible by those who have access to your profile (see “Sharing your JnrJobs Candidate Profile”). Deleted records may still be stored by JnrJobs in testing or backup systems for a period of time.

Where resumes are held in testing environments, these are held in closed and secure environments and information is only used for the purpose of internal software testing. Information held in backup systems is only held for the purposes of backing up systems in the event of a data loss.

JnrJobs Profile

A JnrJobs Profile can include a resume, employment and educational history, contact details, minimum and maximum salary expectations, and preferred job classifications and locations. You can edit your JnrJobs Profile at any time.

Users are able to search JnrJobs’s Employer Profile database to find and contact relevant Employers. Upon registration, all Registered Users will be asked to create a personal JnrJobs Profile (‘JnrJobs Profile’) by providing some key information.

Candidates can modify their resume at any time, or modify their JnrJobs Profile at any time, by going to the Candidate Dashboard or Employer Dashboard area of the Site.

To delete your JnrJobs Profile you will need to delete your entire account with JnrJobs. JnrJobs reserves the right to disable a JnrJobs Profile at its sole discretion (for example if information is found or believed to be untrue or being stored for improper purposes).

Sharing your JnrJobs Candidate Profile

When you apply for a job on the Site, your Candidate Profile is shared with the Employer who has posted the job. They gain access to view your profile and all the data it contains, as well as any attachments that have been added.

No unregistered users can view candidate profile pages, and Candidate users can only view their own Candidate profile page.

Sharing your JnrJobs Employer Profile

When creating a JnrJobs employer account, your Employer profile page becomes public for anyone to view, no matter if they are unregistered users, Candidate users, or other Employer Users. This means that anyone has access to the information displayed on your Employer Profile.

If you want to share your Employer profile page, or that of another company, you can simply copy the URL of the page. To access a personal Employer page, log in to the ‘Employer Dashboard’ page and click ‘View Profile’ in the top left corner of the sidebar.

Online Applications

Making an online application to a job advertisement on JnrJobs is a free and optional service that requires Candidates to complete mandatory fields (for example first name, last name and email) so that the Employers can identify and contact the applicant. When you apply for a job advertisement on the Site, your Candidate Profile is shared with the Employer, and they gain access to view your profile and any attachments. If you do not have a Candidate account, you will be required to complete a form and a Candidate account will be created.

By applying to a position advertised on JnrJobs you are requesting that JnrJobs pass the information you provide to the relevant Employer and/or their nominated representative. Any questions you have relating to a position advertised on JnrJobs, your online application and/or the status of your application should be directed directly to the Employer or their nominated agent, not JnrJobs. JnrJobs reserves the right to disable or delete a saved resume or cover letter at its discretion.
